This is a 1960's RVN (Army of the Republic of Vietnam) Vietnam Campaign Medal. It is an early style made in-country with a French Style attachment. The reverse of this star-shaped medal reads "CHIEN-DICH VIETNAM BOI-TINH"
VINTAGE:Circa 1960's
SIZE:About 4-1/4" x 1-3/8
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold plated and enameled brass, silk ribbon
ATTACHMENT:French style pin
MARKINGS:"CHIEN-DICH VIETNAM BOI-TINH."

CONDITION:7- (Very Fine-): The medal has definitely seen some wear. The pin is rusted in places and some of the enamel has been stripped
