ARTIFACT:

This is a 1960s jacket patch for the United States 5th Air Force Sea Survival School in Numazu, Japan. This patch is Japanese-made and shows two alert seahorses flanking a life preserver.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1960s.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-15/16" in height and 3-3/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/polyester threads.

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): The patch shows only light wear and the coloration is still vibrant.
