This is a distinctive insignia for the United States 1st Army non-color bearing unit. The DI is a blocky capital A with a fleur-de-lis and reads FIRST IN DEED.
VINTAGE:Circa 1960s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/4" in height 15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Two posts.
MARKINGS:V-21.
