1958 Dated 10K Gold Nurse Graduation Pin from Eastern Shore State Hospital (ESSH), Maryland

This is a circa 1958 nursing graduation pin for an LPN from the Eastern Shore State Hospital in Cambridge, Maryland (now Eastern Shore Hospital Center (ESHC)). ESSH started in 1912 as a state facility for the mentally ill, and is now on Maryland's Historic Inventory of Properties. The pin is by S. & N. Katz and is dated on reverse along with the nurse's initials.

Circa 1958.

Approximately 3/4" in height and 3/4" in width.

Enameled 10 karat gold.

Horizontal pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
