ARTIFACT: This is a 1957 yearbook for the United States Air Force 1608th Air Transport Wing at Charleston Air Force Base. The book begins with a photograph, service biography and letter from Colonel Clinton C. Wasem, Commander. The book shows of photographs of staff, their day-to-day duties, some celebrations and foreign ports of call. The book is in black-and-white with isolated touches of the primary colors that marked the era's style.

VINTAGE: Circa 1957.

SIZE: 11-1/4" height and 8-5/8" width; 140 pages plus two end pages.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper and painted, cloth-wrapped cardboard.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.
