ARTIFACT: This is a hardcover copy of "Aircraft Camouflage and Markings 1907-1954" by Bruce Robertson, a British author. This book contains many photographs and illustrations, some in color, of aircraft markings from around the world. The author explains that this book was published to supersede two earlier works written during the war when he understandably did not have the full cooperation of the National Museums and the applicable "Official Sources" (Air Ministry, etc.). This was published in 1956, and was inscribed in the front by a former owner.

VINTAGE: Published 1956.

SIZE: 212 pages; approximately 11-1/8" in height and 8-7/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth-bound cover, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: Harry A. Frye 1956 written inside; Made and Printed in Great Britain by Groves, Brodie and Co., Limited Slough, Bucks, England 1956.

ITEM NOTES: This is from an aircraft reference book collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. LFEX10/13

GUARANTEE: As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
