1950s USS Aeolus (ARC-3) Lighter by Perma-Pic

This is a circa 1950s Perma-Pic lighter for the United States Navy USS Aeolus ARC-Formerly an attack cargo ship named the Turandot, the Aeolus was rechristened in 1954 as a cable repair ship. The front of the lighter shows a black and silver photographic image of the ship.

Circa mid- to late 1950s.

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-7/16" width and 1/2" thickness.

Chrome-plated brass, printed aluminum insert.

Hinge.
