This is a 1950s distinctive insignia by Minero-Newcome for the United States Army 205th Air Defense Artillery, which was formerly the 205th Coast Artillery. The DI reads RES VERAE (date correct).
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass with enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:MINERO-NEWCOME & CO. N.Y.C.
