ARTIFACT:
This is a sterling silver Eastern Airlines five years of service necklace for a stewardess. Although Eastern had its own logo, this symbol of an Uncle Sam's hat was given out as an award by Eddie Rickenbacker, former World War I ace and Eastern CEO.
VINTAGE:
Circa 1950s.
SIZE:
Charm: 1-1/2" height and 1-1/16" width; chain: approximately 9" long.
MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION:
Sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:
Chain with locking clasp.
