1950's Hungarian Red Cross Nurse Instructor Badge

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1950's Hungarian Red Cross nurse instructor badge for ten years of service. The badge reads MVK at the top, has a white enameled medallion showing a 10 and a red cross, and the words at the bottom translate into NURSE TRAINING.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1950's.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-1/2" in height x 1-7/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gold-plated brass with enameled details.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal pin with come-under locking catch.

CONDITION:

8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has some light abrasions and some small spots of light discoloration on its reverse.
