This is a 1950s Hungarian Red Cross nurse instructor badge for ten years of service. The badge reads MVK at the top, has a white enameled medallion showing a 10 and a red cross, and the words at the bottom translate into NURSE TRAINING.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/2" in height and 1-7/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass with enameled details.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under locking swivel catch.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge has some light abrasions and some small spots of light discoloration on its reverse.
