ARTIFACT:

1950's Apex Transportation hat badge. The shield-shaped, enameled badge features a round disc showing an eighteen wheeler in raised detail against a background of red enamel. The top of the badge is numbered: "295" and below reads: "APEX TRANSP."

Approximately 2-5/8" x 2-1/8"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Enameled, chrome-plated brass

ATTACHMENT:

Double posts, one screwback (other is missing).

MARKINGS:

"HOOKFAST PROVIDENCE R.I." on remaining screwback
