ARTIFACT: 1950's Apex Transportation hat badge. The shield-shaped, enameled badge features a round disc showing an eighteen wheeler in raised detail against a background of red enamel. The top of the badge is numbered: "295" and below reads: "APEX TRANSP."

VINTAGE: Circa 1950's

SIZE: Approximately 2-5/8" x 2-1/8"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Enameled, chrome-plated brass

ATTACHMENT: Double posts, one screwback (other is missing).

MARKINGS: "HOOKFAST PROVIDENCE R.I." on remaining screwback

ITEM NOTES: This is from a trucking collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MCJL98 LAFEX2/16

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, much of the enamel and chrome details remain intact, overall very fine condition.
