1950's (?) Camouflage Button-Up Jacket with Reinforced Elbows & Shoulders. French (?)

Nice circa 1950's (?) French (?) camouflage jacket. The jacket features four flap button closure pockets on the front, the top breast pockets have original buttons intact. The elbows and shoulders are reinforced, the shoulders are gathered and have button flaps and the mock collar is lined with buttons. The jacket features a button-up closure and cuffs with a drawstring waist. The cuff buttons are missing, as are two on the jacket closure, but three buttons are loose inside of the pockets and could be easily re-sewn.

Approximately Armpit to armpit: 23"; Shoulder to shoulder (across back): 18"; Collar to hem: 28"; Shoulder to cuff: 22-1/2"

Heavy cotton canvas, thread, linen

6 (Fine+): The jacket shows mild to moderate wear and missing buttons, three are in the front pocket to be re-sewn, there have been repairs to the front (see photos below), overall fine condition.

As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
