This is a circa 1950s or 1960s United States Army 23rd Engineer Battalion pocket patch. The shield-shaped patch was made in Germany, and shows an oak tree in front of a boulder with a very organic silhouette.
VINTAGE:Circa 1950's - 1960's.
SIZE:Approximately 3-9/16" in height and 3-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool and silk embroidered in silk/cotton threads, mesh backing.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto uniform.
MARKINGS:None.
