1944 WWII United States Navy novel detailing amphibious activities titled: Many a Watchful Night by Lieutenant John Mason Brown, USNR. The hardcover book is 219 pages and filled with photographs and illustrations. John Mason Brown was born in 1900 and joined the US Navy in 1943. The book serves as a condensed overview of the Allied navy attack on the beaches, and of the outcome of the landings. The book is beautifully written, and enhanced by strong photographs by US Navy photographers. The book is dedicated to "Cassie, Preston, and Meredith and All Other Families Also A Part of The Invasion"
