1944 WWII United States Navy novel detailing amphibious activities titled: Many a Watchful Night by Lieutenant John Mason Brown, USNR. The hardcover book is 219 pages and filled with photographs and illustrations. John Mason Brown was born in 1900 and joined the US Navy in 194The book serves as a condensed overview of the Allied navy attack on the beaches, and of the outcome of the landings. The book is beautifully written, and enhanced by strong photographs by US Navy photographers.
