ARTIFACT: This is a 1944 US Military guide entitled "A Short Guide to Great Britain." This is a great - though out-dated - guide to the country, people and customs of Great Britain. This is the guide issued to many of the troops that were stationed in England preparing for the D-Day invasion..

VINTAGE: Published 1944.

SIZE: 38 pages; approximately 5-1/4" in height and 4-1/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Oaktag cover; paper.

ATTACHMENT: Stapled binding.

MARKINGS: U.S. GOVERNMENT PRINTING OFFICE: 1944.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The book has some light wear to the cover and small discolored areas around the staples.
