This is a 1943 United States War (Army) and Navy Department guide entitled "A Short Guide to Great Britain." This is a great - though out-dated - guide to the country, people and customs of Great Britain. This is the guide issued to many of the troops that were stationed in England preparing for the D-Day invasion.
