ARTIFACT: This is a 1944 Flying Eight-Ball Club Wing & a Lifetime Honorary Membership Card of Dr. Don D. Holcomb. Take the time to read the card "" it is a very humorous organization! The card says they are the "Academy of Model Aeronautics Boosters" and are headed by "Chief Blooper" Walt Billett and "Imperial Past Grand Old-Timer" Matty Sullivan!

VINTAGE: Circa 1944.

SIZE: Wing: About 2-1/2" in width by 1-1/4" in height; Card: About 2-5/16" in width by 3-7/8" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wing: Gilt brass and celluloid; Card: Printed card stock.

ATTACHMENT: Wing: Horizontal pin with a come-under locking catch and a single screwpost to attach 8 ball to eagle; Card: N/A.

MARKINGS: Wing: None; Card: Dated 7/23/44 and numbered 172.
