This is a 1943 submarine launch ribbon for the USS Bang SS-385, launched August 30, 1943 at Portsmouth (NH) Naval Shipyard. . The Bang earned six battle stars for her World War II service and was transferred to Spain in 1972.
VINTAGE:Circa 1943.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/4 in width and 5-1/4" in length.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Printed silk.
