This is a 1942 "Remember Bataan" celluloid pin from the United Steel Workers' Union of America in black and grey, issued the same year as the death march that was later recognized as a Japanese war crime.
VINTAGE:Circa 1942.
SIZE:Approximately 13/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin, brass pin.
ATTACHMENT:Straight pin.
MARKINGS:CHAS. M. GERAGHTY INC. CHICAGO MADE IN USA and two union marks on reverse.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a WWII union collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. AA/EA98 LCJX10/10 SLCIX9/13 SCEX5/16
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The pin has some small spots of light wear.
