This is a Nazi steel helmet strap made from leather. It has a 1941 date and maker's stamp for Wilhelm Eilers Jr. of Bielefeld at the end of the strap that goes through the buckle.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 11-1/2" in length and 4-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Leather, stamped steel.
ATTACHMENT:Buckle; two rivets holding strap in loops.
MARKINGS:WILHELM EILERS JR. BIELEFELD 1941 .

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): The strap shows some light to medium wear to both the leather and the metal and has one small oblique cut which does not go very far into the strap.
