ARTIFACT: This is a 1940s enameled Continental Aircraft Engine Company tie bar. The tie bar reads POWERFUL AS THE NATION at center with a logo of the Capitol dome.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940s.

SIZE: 1-3/4” height and 1-13/16” width.

CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gold-plated brass with red and black enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Triangular clip.

MARKINGS: N/A.
