This is an old postal badge in celluloid. It reads POST OFFICE DEPARTMENT USA 5578 and shows a profile of a rider on a horse.
VINTAGE:Circa 1940s.
SIZE:2-9/16" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin with "C" catch.
MARKINGS:JNYC (on bottom edge).
