Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1940 Fire Warden, or possibly Forest Fire Warden, badge from Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. Fitzwilliam is located in southwestern New Hampshire and sits upon the Massachusetts border. The badge is in excellent condition and shows the Seal of the State of New Hampshire at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1940.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-5/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

Patent number on bar.
