ARTIFACT:

1940's - 1950's United States Forest Service Park Ranger badge. The gilt brass badge shows an evergreen in the centered between the letters "US" in raised detail and surrounding reads: "FOREST SERVICE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE" in embossed lettering.

Circa 1940's - 1950's

SIZE:

Approximately 1-9/16" x 1-7/16"

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt brass, nickel finding

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical pin with drop in locking swivel catch.
