ARTIFACT: This is a beautiful, large 1940 Gau achievement badge on volks target for defense. The badge is in silver-plated bronze and was made by Poellath. It reads LANDESFEHIEBEN 1940 and has a fantastic red enameled eagle clutching a white target with a swastika at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1940.

SIZE: Approximately 1-15/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Silver-plated bronze, enamel.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin with swiveling tubular saddle.

MARKINGS: G. Poellath Schrobenhausen (on pin holder).

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany militaria collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VFJX13 LABEX9/13 SABEX8/15

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some areas of light to medium wear and tarnish; all enamel is intact.
