Description
This is a 1938 Zippo with factory-engraved initials, GWC. Sometime in the 1960s the lighter was obviously sent back to the factory for hinge repair. At that time, a NICKEL 5-barrel hinge was put in the lighter and the original guts were replaced with a new insert. The factory worker also placed their initials on the inside of the cover. The insert is unmarked without a donut hole striker rivet, and was never fired.
