This is a circa 1947 Zippo lighter with a factory-engraved sailboat. The lighter is in chromed nickel with a nickel insert.

Circa 1947.

Approximately 2-1/4" height and 1-1/2" width and 1/2" thickness.

Chromed nickel, nickel insert.

Hinge.
