ARTIFACT: This is a 1936-1937 Nazi German Winterhilfswerk (Winter Help) donation tinnie. The Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt (National Socialist People's Welfare Organization) had a fundraising drive annually for less fortunate members of the citizenry known as the WHW. The tinnie has an overall horseshoe shape with a toadstool at its center.

VINTAGE: Circa 1936-1937.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 15/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Stamped tin.

ATTACHMENT: Straight pin.

MARKINGS: N/A.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Nazi Germany collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX11 LCDX2/11 SCJX09/21

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The tinnie has some moderate wear and tarnish.
