This is a circa 1935-1940 Belgian Army Air Force enlisted man hat badge for a dress uniform. The badge is a finely detailed wing with a the cypher of Leopold III at center, two tilted "L"s and a Roman numeral III. He ruled Belgium from 1934 until 1951.
VINTAGE:Circa 1935-1940.
SIZE:Approximately 1" in height and 2-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Prongs.
