Description
This is a circa 1930s or World War II badge for the First Aid Corps of the General Electric Erie Works plant. The Erie location manufactured trolley parts as well as electrically-powered locomotive and tank motors. The badge is nicely enameled with red lettering and a green cross. It was made by Whitehead-Hoag of Newark, New Jersey.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The badge shows little wear and has a small area of discoloration to the reverse only; all enamel is intact.
