Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s American Motorless Aviation Corporation (AMAC) first class glider badge by Whitehead & Hoag. The badge is round, reads AMAC and shows three gulls in flight.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass with blue and white enamel.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK N.J. on backing.

ITEM NOTES:
