Description
This is a pair of 1930s United States Navy Lieutenant Junior Grad shoulder boards worn by Wally Johnson, a radio officer aboard the U.S.S. President Garfield, which is pictured above (as well As Johnson himself). The boards are in gold bullion.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/16" in height and 2-1/4" in width (each).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in bullion threads, embroidery tape, plated brass, velvet backing, patent leather.
ATTACHMENT:Strap affixed by snap (one each).
