Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1930s cap badge for the Essex Regiment (Tank) of Canada. The badge is an oval adorned with maple leaves and has a crown at top. The badge reads THE ESSEX REGIMENT (TANK) CANADA and shows a tank at center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1930s.

SIZE:

1-7/8" in height and 2-1/16" wide.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Plated brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Two loops with bobby pin.

CONDITION:

8 (Excellent-): Badge shows light wear but attachment is heavily oxidized.
