Description
This is a great circa 1930s Ohio State Highway Patrol wallet badge that originally belonged to Martin E. Blum, a Cleveland lawyer, prosecutor, policeman and judge. His long and varied career started in 1924 when he became an assistant police prosecutor. He was also a president of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association and a chairman of the Ohio State Housing Board. Blum passed away in 198We also have a Special Deputy Sheriff badge that also belonged to Blum that is being sold separately (please see link at bottom of this page for more information).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 1-5/8" in height and 1-1/8" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with come-under locking swivel catch.
MARKINGS:None.
