Description
This is a circa 1930s Special Deputy Sheriff of Cuyahoga County, Ohio badge that originally belonged to Martin E. Blum, a Cleveland lawyer, prosecutor, policeman and judge. His long and varied career started in 1924 when he became an assistant police prosecutor. He was also a president of the Cuyahoga County Bar Association and a chairman of the Ohio State Housing Board. Blum passed away in 198We also have an Ohio State Highway Patrol badge that also belonged to Blum that is being sold separately (please see link at bottom of this page for more information).
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-1/16" in height and 1-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.
