Description
This is a 1930s Nashville Flying Service Air Mail lot that contains three black and white photographs (one signed on reverse by Jim Foxworth), a 1938 certificate of pilot cooperation addressed to D.T. Ford from the Postmaster General, a Nashville Post Office Department badge numbered 776 on a leather pocket hanger and a cloth hat badge.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Postal badge: 3-3/8" height and 2-1/2" width (including hanger).
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Photographs, printed paper, brushed twill embroidered in cotton/silk threads, plated brass with painted area, leather.

CONDITION:6 (Fine+): Items are in various conditions but overall are fine. The letter, group photo and badge are in good condition, but two of the photographs have been compromised and discolored in areas and the hat badge is what is left of a very mothed hat.
