This is a circa early 1930s lapel pin for the American Flying Mail Association by Robbins Company of Attleboro, Massachusetts. The association was to have its first annual convention in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on September 7 of the same year but it was postponed until one month later. The pin reads February 7, 1929 on the front.
VINTAGE:Circa early 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 5/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with stabilization tooth.
MARKINGS:ROBBINS CO. ATTLEBORO, MASS. on backing.
