1930s First Issue Connecticut State Police Officer Hat

This is a Connecticut State Trooper hat from the 1930s (first issue). Markings on the inside tell that the hat was reassigned to an auxiliary unit at a later date.

Circa 1930's.

Approximately 5" in height height x 10-1/2" inches in length. width.

Beaver felt with leather chin strap and silk hat band.

To be worn on head.

DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE Connecticut stamped on inner hatband.

8+ (Excellent): Hat is in great shape and there are only a couple of minor spots of discoloration. Small amount of wear on chin strap and bow of head band.

As with all my artifacts, this piece is guaranteed to be original, as described.
