ARTIFACT: This is a Connecticut State Trooper hat from the 1930s (first issue). Markings on the inside tell that the hat was reassigned to an auxiliary unit at a later date.

VINTAGE: Circa 1930's.

SIZE: Approximately 5" in height height x 10-1/2" inches in length. width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Beaver felt with leather chin strap and silk hat band.

ATTACHMENT: To be worn on head.

MARKINGS: DEPARTMENT OF STATE POLICE Connecticut stamped on inner hatband.

ITEM NOTES: This hat is from a state trooper collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VCEX08 LAGEX08 SAGEX02/10/22

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): Hat is in great shape and there are only a couple of minor spots of discoloration. Small amount of wear on chin strap and bow of head band.
