This is a 1930s sleeve shield for the Fascist Militia Anti-Aircraft unit. The Militia (Milizia Controaerei) was formed in 1927 and provided defense complimentary to the military anti-aircraft units, as well as observation and manning of searchlights.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:Approximately 2-7/8" in height and 2-3/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted aluminum.
ATTACHMENT:Three small holes.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine-Excellent): The shield has some small areas of light wear.
