Description
This is a rare 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps sweetheart pin form the 264th Company. The pin has two parts connected by a link chain: one pin is a 264 and the other is a pine tree with two crossed axes that reads CCC.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:7/16" height (of pine tree pin) and 2-1/4" length with chain stretched taut.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass and enameled sterling.
ATTACHMENT:Two pins with drop-in locking swivel catches (one vertical and one horizontal) and a link chain.
MARKINGS:STERLING (one pine tree pin).
