This is the 1930s Boston School Buildings Department electrical engineer badge of E.C. McCarthy.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s.
SIZE:About 1-1/2" in width by 2-3/8" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Chrome-plated brass with black painted detail.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with a "drop-in" locking catch.
