ARTIFACT: This is a 1924 photograph of the United States Army Battery A 61st Coast Artillery. They were at Fort Monroe, Virginia in July 1924 when this group shot was taken. A caption notes that the Battery was rated excellent" in military efficiency.

VINTAGE: Circa 1924.

SIZE: Approximately 8" in height by 27-7/8" in length (not including foam board).

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Photograph.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: PHOTO BY KENT FORT EUSTIS, VA.

ITEM NOTES: This photo will be shipped unwrapped and rolled without the foam board, unless arrangements are made for pick-up or special shipping to preserve the shrink wrap mounting. BECAUSE there is a chance of wrinkling or cracking because of the age, so shipping flat is recommended at extra cost. This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAJX05 LFJX11/11

CONDITION: 6+ (Fine-Very Fine): The photo has a few vertical crease lines and light to medium aging.
