This is a California Association of Highway Patrolmen Delegate badge from before there was a California Highway Patrol. The badge is from a gathering in San Francisco on January 9, 10, 11, 1923 and named to Henry J Wessel of Marin County.
VINTAGE:Circa 1923.
SIZE:About 3 in width by 7" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Paper, stamped brass and silk-screened silk ribbon.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal one-piece safety-style pin with a "C" catch.

CONDITION:7 (Very Fine): Very minor wear; some of the painted lettering has faded and there is minor fraying to the bottom of the ribbon.
