ARTIFACT: This is a California Association of Highway Patrolmen Delegate badge from before there was a California Highway Patrol. The badge is from a gathering in San Francisco on January 9, 10, 11, 1923 and named to Henry J Wessel of Marin County.

VINTAGE: Circa 1923.

SIZE: About 3 in width by 7" in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Paper, stamped brass and silk-screened silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal one-piece safety-style pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS: BADGES, BANNERS LAPEL BUTTONS WALTER N. BRUNT 111 SEVENT ST. SANFRANCISCO, CAL. U.S.A. PRINTING.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a large collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. 

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): Very minor wear; some of the painted lettering has faded and there is minor fraying to the bottom of the ribbon.
