ARTIFACT:

This is a California Association of Highway Patrolmen Delegate badge from before there was a California Highway Patrol. The badge is from a gathering in San Francisco on January 9, 10, 11, 1923 and named to Henry J Wessel of Marin County.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1923.

SIZE:

About 3 in width by 7" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Paper, stamped brass and silk-screened silk ribbon.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal one-piece safety-style pin with a "C" catch.

MARKINGS:
