Rejected Issue California Highway Patrol (CHP) Badge

This is a 1990s rejected issue badge for the California Highway Patrol. The badge is in a seven-pointed star design with the State of California seal at center and reads CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY PATROL 13271 TRAFFIC OFFICER.

Circa 1990s.

2-7/8" height and 3" width.

Gold-filled with blue enamel.

Vertical pin with come-under swivel locking catch.

14K 1/10 GF WA maker's mark.
