ARTIFACT: This is a "Maid Working Here" sign from the Copley-Plaza Hotel in Boston, Massachusetts. The hotel opened in 1912 and is now has "Historic Hotels of America" status. The sign dates from the 1920s or early 1930s, and reads the same on front and back.

VINTAGE: Circa 1920s - early 1930s.

SIZE: Approximately 3-7/8" in width by 4-5/16" in height; cord is approximately 8-1/2" in total length.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Printed card stock, cord.

ATTACHMENT: Two holes, cord.

MARKINGS: FORM 264.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a hotel-related collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX13 LBDX4/13 SBJX5/13

CONDITION: 3- (Good-): The sign has some heavy folds and creases and one hole is torn through near the top.
