ARTIFACT:

This is a circa 1920s American-Bosch Radio Explorers Club lapel pin. The radio market was very competitive in its early days, and the American-Bosch company came up with the Radio Explorers Club as a way to advertise the adventurer spirit inherent in their product. The pin shows the oncoming prow of a ship at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1920s.

SIZE:

Approximately 5/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Stamped brass.

ATTACHMENT:

Straight pin.
