ARTIFACT:

This is a Gorgeous circa 1917 French Army Observer Badge Type 1 # 1920 Converted to Pinback most likely for wear by on America. 

This one Came with Croix de Guerre 1914 - 1917 with 2 Palms & 3 Stars. But since we have no biographical data, we are selling these separately.

VINTAGE:

World War I, circa 1917.

SIZE:

Approximately: 1-1/2" in height x 1-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Gilt and Silver-plated bronze, with steel findings.

ATTACHMENT:

Horizontal T-style pin with 'C' catch.

MARKINGS:

B 1920
