This is an Extremely Rare World War I circa 1917 French Army Aviation Airship Balloon Observer Badge # 399.

World War I.

Approximately: 1-1/2" in height x 1-5/8" in width.

Gilt and silver-plated bronze.

Two lugs with suspension bar.
