ARTIFACT: This is a nice hardcover copy of Stanley C. Johnson's "Chats on Military Curios". The book was published by Unwin Brothers Limited in 1915. The book concerns itself with everything from military uniforms and medals to war money and soldier's autographs, all to do with Britain and its Commonwealth. The handsome red cover is fairly decorative.

VINTAGE: Circa 1915.

SIZE: 342 pages with black and white photographs and illustrations; approximately 8-1/8" in height and 5-5/8" in width and 1-3/4" in thickness.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embossed cloth cover with gilt painted details, paper.

ATTACHMENT: Glued binding.

MARKINGS: UNWIN BROTHERS, LIMITED, THE GRESHAM PRESS, WOKING AND LONDON (last page).
