This is a fob for the 1913 annual encampment of the Vermont National Guard, which took place in the 50th year following the Battle of Gettysburg. The fob is by Whitehead & Hoag.
VINTAGE:Circa 1913.
SIZE:Approximately 3-5/8" in length and 1-1/2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Plated brass, leather.
ATTACHMENT:Strap with buckle.
MARKINGS:THE WHITEHEAD & HOAG CO. NEWARK, N.J.
